It is time to build on the first CancerMaps study.

Thanks to generous support from a number of sources we are building on the findings from the first CancerMaps study. The first study provided general insights into how people use web-content to navigate the cancer journey, you can access the report from the first study free of charge using the link below.

We will now explore how to create better web-content that helps address the orientation needs of people in three  specific situations:

1. Facing systemic therapy as part of curative intent cancer treatment. Funding for this objective has been provided by Knight Therapeutics.

2. Facing systemic therapy as part of non-curative intent cancer treatment. Funding for this objective has been provided by Pfizer.

3. Looking for ways to get supportive care needs addressed by using online resource directories. Funding for this objective has been provided by the CancerCare Manitoba Foundation.

This study is open to cancer patients and their friends and family who are over the age of 18+.

This study has been reviewed and approved by the University of Manitoba Health Ethics Research Board and the CancerCare Manitoba Research Resource Impact committee. The funding agencies did not participate or influence the design or research objectives of the study.

If you are interested in participating or learning more about the study please check out the official poster for the study which is linked below and use the email address provided.
