My name is Mac Thiessen. I am a practicing medical oncologist and researcher focused on improving how people living with cancer find and use online information.

CancerMaps was founded to create online cancer resources grounded in lived experience and organized around the patient journey.

About CancerMaps

CancerMaps Inc. is a Canadian national non-profit organization working with people affected by cancer — including patients, caregivers, family members, and friends — to create meaningful online content.

We use evidence-informed approaches to content development and support research aimed at improving the quality of online cancer information.
